ABB PM856AK01 3BSE066490R1 controller CPU board contains microprocessor and RAM memory, real-time clock, LED indicator, INIT button and CompactFlash interface. The backplane of the PM856A controller has two RJ45 Ethernet ports (CN1, CN2) for connecting to the control network, and two RJ45 serial ports (COM3, COM4). One serial port (COM3) is an RS-232C port with modem control signal, while the other port (COM4) is isolated and used to connect the configuration tool. Simple DIN rail connection/removal procedure with unique sliding and locking mechanism. All backplanes provide a unique Ethernet address and hardware identification for each CPU.
