ABB PM851AK01 3BSE066485R1 processor module CPU board contains microprocessor and RAM memory, real-time clock, LED indicator, INIT button and CompactFlash interface. The backplane of PM851A controller has two RJ45 Ethernet ports (CN1, CN2) for connecting control network and two RJ45 serial ports (COM3, COM4). Please note that PM851/PM851A is limited to one Ethernet (C
N1) port, so redundant Ethernet is not available. One serial port (COM3) is an RS-232C port with modem control signal, while the other port (COM4) is isolated and used to connect the configuration tool. Simple DIN rail connection/removal procedure with unique sliding and locking mechanism. All backplanes provide a unique Ethernet address and hardware identification for each CPU.
