I/O端口面板

• One CF slot is located on the I/O port panel below the serial port. The slot is functionally hot swappable, but only in a non hazardous location. It is a data slot, but it is bootable. Installing the CF card in the solid-state drive bay Follow these steps to install the CF card into the solid-state drive bay on the side of the computer. 1. Follow the pre configuration steps on page 24. 2. Loosen the screws (A) that secure the drive bay cover. 3. Loosen the screw (B) that secures the drive bracket lever. 4. Open the drive bay lever (C). 5. Pull out the CF card tray (D). WARNING: Do not connect or disconnect components unless the power is turned off and the area is not hazardous.
Hazardous location
Warning: Only the catalog numbers 6189V-CFSSD8GB and 6189V-FSSD16GB CF cards can be used in hazardous locations in the 6181X computer. Replacement of components may affect the suitability for hazardous locations. WARNING: The drive bays on the side of all computer models are not hot swappable. You must turn off the computer before you can insert or remove a CF card from this bay. Remove the CF card locking screw (E). If necessary, slide the existing CF card out of the slot (F) and remove it. 7. Insert the CF card into the slot (G) until it is firmly seated. 8. Replace CF card locking screw (H). 9. Push in CF card tray (I). 10. Close the drive bracket lever (J). 11. Tighten the screw (K) that secures the drive bracket control lever. Note: After correct installation, more than 80% of CF cards can easily be inserted into the slot before encountering resistance. If you soon encounter resistance, remove the card, rotate it 180 °, and then reinsert it. Do not force the card into the slot, or the connector pins will be damaged.
