Automated Sentinel Program
The control system software for subscription identification of ABB is continuously enhanced and further improved. Automation Sentinel is the software manager of our products and the easiest way to profit from these improvements. It is designed to help customers manage and maintain their system software to take advantage of the continuous improvement and enhancement of our software. Basic subscription includes technical support from Level 3 and R&D support organizations. This support is provided to solve the product defects and problems they encounter during the subscription period. Note: These technical support services are available during normal office hours from Monday to Friday. Sentinel subscriptions also include Solutions Bank subscriptions, which provide customers with online access and download of software and product documentation. Before the agreement expires, you need to order Automation Sentinel renewal to continue receiving maintenance updates, accessing expert support resources, upgrading to new versions of existing software, and maintaining the option of upgrading to 800xA in the future. These renewals are valid for 12 months and have been running continuously since the last subscription. Failure to renew Sentinel subscriptions will result in all updates, upgrades, and enhancements to our software no longer being available to customers. After the subscription expires, the option to rejoin the automated sentry program is to use the then effective purchase plan to purchase sentries or purchase new system software.
