We are pleased to announce the new Bently Nevada ® 1900/65 Universal Device Monitor. This flexible and cost-effective system is designed to continuously monitor and protect important and balanced plant equipment assets in various industries, including oil and gas, power generation, water treatment, pulp and paper making, manufacturing, mining, cement, etc. Traditional rack based monitoring systems, such as Bently Nevada 3500 series, are widely used to protect large and complex rotating machinery, but it is often difficult to prove that such continuous monitoring of less critical equipment is reasonable. Therefore, these machines usually operate without adequate protection. Although simple devices such as 4-20 mA transmitters can be used, they provide very limited functionality and require additional equipment to convert 4-20 mA signals into "protection". The 1900/65 monitor is applicable to monitoring and protecting cooling tower fans, pumps, blowers, motors, crushers, air compressors, small reciprocating compressors, small motors, small water turbines, centrifuges and other equipment assets.
