Consumer of the device system COMV. You can also modify the timeslot of each COMV. If the network segment is locked, the device correspondence cannot be modified. If an I/O rack is locked, the corresponding entries for that rack may not be modified. Access the MPS exchange definition. To define or edit the MPS exchange of a network segment, go to the network configuration tool. 2. In the left pane, select the network segment icon. 3. On the Tools menu, click Edit Swap. The definition of the MPS switch window lists the configured network segment devices. For each subscriber, the list includes the name of the device (for example, fbc70x10), the type (for example, 90-70), and the category (in this case, PLC). 4. Deleting a correspondent deletes all previously defined exchanges between the device and the correspondent. Create or Modify Generated Application Variables To create or modify the generated application, do the following: 1. Select the Generated Application Variables tab. 2. To create a variable, click the New Variable button. To modify a variable, select the variable and click the Modify Variable button. 3. In the dialog box, enter or edit the following as required: A The name of the variable (no more than 12 alphanumeric characters). B. Type (Boolean, signed integer, unsigned integer). C. The number of bits or a 16 bit word in a variable. 4. If the transmission timeslot is not suitable, please select another timeslot from the list. Click OK. To delete the generated application variable, click the Delete Variable button. Edit Production System Variables 1. Select the Production System Variables tab. 2. In the list of variables, click the variable name.
