Rack mounted fan assemblies (IC697ACC721 (120 VAC) or IC697CCC724 (240 VAC)) can be used for installations that require forced air cooling (refer to data sheet GFK-0637 for fan assembly details).
Installation requirements
(Front mount or rear mount) must be determined according to the application and the correct rack ordered. The mounting flange is an integral part of the rack side panel and is installed at the factory. Three redundant racks with GFK-1447B PLC racks installed at the front and rear. In January 2000, these racks can accommodate two types of I/O modules. First, the rack IC697 high-density I/O module uses removable field terminal blocks. Each I/O module can accept up to 40 AWG # 14 (2.10 mm2) conductors. The harness is led out from the bottom of the terminal board cavity, in which a clamp plate for tie wraps is provided to fix the harness to the terminal board housing.
