ABB's UNITROL 1000 excitation products are certified according to the German Grid Code (VDEAR-N 4110 and VDE-AR-N 4120). The test procedure includes three-phase and two-phase low and high voltage fault ride through (FRT). UNITROL 1000 equipment performs well in supporting network during and after failure. The component certificate includes an accurate Power Factory model where the simulation results match the measurement results. The certification process requires an external measurement company to conduct a separate measurement, and the simulation results are verified by the certification company.
