并行端口接口PCCchip2提供8位双向并行端口。这端口可用作与Centronics兼容的并行打印机端口或作为通用并行输入/输出端口。

82596CA实现以太网收发器接口。这个82596CA使用DMA操作访问本地RAM以执行其正常功能。以太网收发器接口位于MVME187上，并且行业标准连接器位于MVME712X上过渡模块。
每个MVME187分配一个以太网站地址。这个地址是$08003E2xxxxx，其中xxxxx是唯一的5位字节分配给电路板的编号（即每个MVME187具有不同的xxxxx的值）。

System structure:
V3 version: realize man-machine communication through HMI touch screen.
